The SARI Foundation raises funds in the Netherlands for the Indian foundation Suyam. Suyam has been active for eighteen years already. Suyam's goal is to provide underprivileged children (homeless people and beggars, who have often been living on the streets for four generations) education, protection, food and clothing to break the cycle of poverty from generation to generation. The couple Uma and Muthuram are both highly educated Indians who have chosen to focus their lives on developing and...

Theater workshop Novalis is a daytime activity aimed at theater and creative expression for people with a (mild) intellectual disability. Developing talent and personality is their starting point. In the past we already donated art materials to them. 2 Oktober 2020 we visited this beautiful place. It really touched us how involved and positive all the staff members and 'Theather Makers"( that's how they call their clients) were. There is also a lunch café. Its worth taking a look here!

In April 2020, we donated a large amount of felt-tip pens to the asylum seekers' centers in the Netherlands. Last week we paid a visit to AZC Gilze. 900 refugees reside at this location. Many of them have to wait for years in these centers for a residence permit as the length of these procedures is often very long. The visit made a great impression on us. All the people we met have been waiting there for days, weeks, years for clarity. In the meantime, life stands still and there is no future...

Last March, we also supported the Spread a Smile foundation. Its mission is to brighten the days of seriously and terminally ill children and teenagers in hospital. This summer bags were filled with creative products and other toys to give the children in the hospitals some distraction. Thanks to the great cooperation with Royal Talens UK, this became a very nice and rewarding project to work on.

The Summer Fun Packages provide a little extra fun for children who live in poverty and experience little out of the ordinary during the summer vacation. There is no money. Sometimes not even for an ice cream. And that while the summers of their friends and neighborhood children are filled with fun things. That must change! That is why the "kinderhulp" Foundation came up with Summer Fun packages for the fourth year in a row. A bag full of nice things for the summer: a football, a reading book,...

The last months we gave several times materials to Cello, an organisation that has 2400 disabled people under its care. They were very happy and grateful for this donation. We received this beautiful homemade garland of hearts, the symbol during the corona time. Thank you!
