In December 2017, the Royal Talens Foundation started a partnership with the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital (WKZ) in Utrecht. Every year around 5000 children are hospitalized there. The foundation wanted to contribute to the wellbeing of these little patients with a creative Zentangle project. Sunshine4kids' mission is to improve the conditions in Kenia's (primairy) education system. The organisation currently supports 18 schools in Kenia by providing material, building classrooms and toilet facilities. They offer internships for Belgian (Pedagogy) students, to exchange knowledge and methods. On 14 January 2009 the organisation ‘Les Amis de Gambie’ opened an orphanage in Gambia: Sinchu Orphanage. When Nieske, Marielle, Christa and her daughter Noa (11), heared that the founder of the orphanage was terminally ill, they wanted to do something to support the children in Sinchu Orphanage.
