Spain | Art isn't just beautiful; it's also incredibly important for expressing oneself, especially for kids. That's why we were thrilled when our colleagues from Royal Talens Spain introduced us to Associació Sociocultural Ateneu l'Empelt. With our support and that of Royal Talens Spain, they organized a wonderful collaborative mural event.

The Netherlands | Since 2022, the TOOF (Temporary Shelter for Ukrainians on Forthaarsweg) has been hosting weekly painting classes, sparking creativity and connection among its young participants. We are happy to support them with our Royal Talens materials. In the heart of Holten, the TOOF is a place where children from Ukraine come together to explore their artistic talents, and more!

On March 3rd, our CFO and board member Michel Wessel ran the Tokyo marathon to raise money for a Royal Talens Foundation project. Together with Femke Schrijvers, Anton van Empel and Anne Rixt Epema they raised over 14.000 euros! Amazing work! Additionally, Robert Lodiers will run the Rotterdam marathon on April 14th to raise money for the same project as well. Good luck, Robert!

Spain | Together with artist and Royal Talens Spain colleague Pilar Barrios Varela, fifteen migrant women and girls created four beautiful ‘Vertical Gardens’. During the process they found strength, confidence and support with each other. This is how they did it.

At the annual Creativeworld in Frankfurt, Royal Talens connected with their business partners and community. The Royal Talens Foundation was present as well with an interactive display. Passersby were encouraged to share their thoughts on which non-profit the Royal Talens Foundation should collaborate with next. The response was fantastic, and we're grateful for all the great ideas we received. It is a starting point for new collaborations so we can expand on projects around the world. Tanzania | On October 31, 2023, Vrijwillig Wereldwijd, a Dutch volunteering organization, orchestrated a heartwarming art project at a school for deaf children called Shule ya Viziwi in Iringa, Tanzania. Elise Diderich was there to help and reported back to us about the event. She mentioned that over 100 children joined the workshop in which they could paint their favourite animals with watercolours from Royal Talens. A big turnout for a fantastic event!

Rotterdam, the Netherlands | Last December, the Strong Through Art Foundation (STAF) hosted an enchanting day together with artists Robert van der Kroft, Karmijn and Werklicht foundations and Ukrainian artists. 43 Ukrainian refugee children, ages ranging from 4 to 12, joined the festive workshop together with their parents / caretakers at Youth Theater Hofplein in Rotterdam. It was a big success!
